Our Educational Workshops

We create innovative activities and publications FOR children WITH children in London. Illustrated magazines, songs and raps, maps, posters, compact discs, interactive web sites – we're always developing new ideas. And we're always looking for children to help us with our next project!

Our Studio Workshops are structured as professional design studios, where participants work with expert designers and professional illustrators to realise their project aims. We ask our participants, "What Do You Want to Create?" and then we give them the training, resources and support they need to get the project done.

Plus, we have LOADS of fun in the process!

Current Projects

'History Rocks: Michael Faraday' (Spring 2011)
We teamed up with Catlin and St Paul's Cross Way Secondary School to explore the life and science of Michael Faraday. Never heard of him? Well, every time you switch on a light or use your computer, you can thank him for his work in the field of electromagnetics. Without Mr. Faraday, we would not have electricity!

Guy Fox Family Newsletter - Ongoing
We publish our Family Newsletter two times a year; it features family-friendly events and activities across London, plus a Guy Fox cartoon. [Download the current issue here] (PDF: 3.31Mb)

Unconfirmed Upcoming Projects (Autumn 2011)
Hmm... sounds mysterious, doesn't it? We have a few projects which have received the 'thumbs up' from funding partners, but we can't publish the details just yet. The only thing we can say is: these projects will have the usual 'Guy Foxy' elements of creativity, imagination and education. And of course, LOTS of drawing!

If you represent a primary school or community group and you'd like to work with us on an upcoming project, please [Contact Us].

Recent Projects

History Rocks: The City of London [View photos]
We worked with a great team of volunteers from UBS and students at Randal Cremer Primary School in Shoreditch, to explore the history of 'The City' and produce a children's guidebook. Our group explored the City on foot and we visited the London Metropolitan Archives for a behind-the-scenes tour. The book is currently in production, with a launch date for June 2011.

How the World REALLY Works: International Commercial Law
We worked in partnership with Norton Rose Group and Tower Bridge Primary School in London. The book is currently in production, with a scheduled release date of June 2011. If your company or organisation is interested in partnering with us on our 'How the World REALLY Works' project, please [Contact Us].

Explore the City with Guy Fox
We teamed up with St Martins Property Corporation and St James's Primary School and created a City of London Heritage Map. The map was launched on 13th November at the Lord Mayor's Parade in London. [Watch the video from the parade on YouTube]
